Since 2013, the Maldives LONGRUN has been the ultimate test of endurance and determination in the Maldives, bringing together passionate runners from across the country and around the world.

Hosted by Total Fitness Group (TfG), the 2026 edition promises to elevate the race experience to a new level.

What’s new in 2026?

– the Race Village and Start/Finish Line will be located inside the Hulhumalé Running Track.
– All race categories will experience two scenic bridges.
– Nearly 2km of running through Hulhumalé Phase 2.
– A beautifully crafted, runner-focused loop course.

Marathon (42.2km), starts 2:00am
– 2 laps around the running track before exiting
– 6 loops of a 6.9km course

Half Marathon (21.1km), starts 3:00am
– 1 lap around the running track before exiting
– 3 loops of the 6.9km course

10K starts 6:00am & 5K starts 7:00am
– Share the main scenic loop featuring the bridges and Phase 2
– Avoid the industrial-area turn at the 3km mark
– Run a clean and straightforward 5km loop

For The International Runners

Every year we do get international runners coming over from across the globe. Our advice is for your to book your stay in any hotel in “hulhumale”. race bib collection happens in “male’ city” which is connected to hulhumale via a bridge. You can taxi here from your hotel or you can even do a short boat ride (ferry) from hulhumale ferry station to male’ ferry station. then, about a 10 minutes or less walk will get you to our race expo venue, which is also our head office.
some runners have opted to stay in male’ as well. again, there are many city hotels in male’ area as well (our partner hotel is SOMERSET HOTEL) which is one of the leading boutique hotels in Male’ city. most runners we have had the chance to converse had told us that after the race, they go on for a real relaxing holiday experience in a resort. Resorts are beautiful, some are a short speed boat away from male’ and hulhumale whereas others require a seaplane (that gets arranged by the resort with your booking). also do note that there are budget hotels in nearby island and it is worth looking at islands like “maafushi”, “gulhi”,“thulusdhoo”, “goidhoo” to name a few. if you have any specific questions, do not hesitate to contact us via email or WhatsApp +960799-3834
